My Journey As A Healer

Hello, I am Veronica Harrell, MD, founder of Healing Lotus Reiki Associates. Allow me to take this opportunity to welcome you to my website. As a board-certified neurologist, I have spent over a decade helping to heal patients with Western medicine techniques. Over the years, I've learned first-hand that satisfactory healing rarely occurs if only physical symptoms are addressed. Throughout my work as a modern healthcare practitioner, I was frequently able to develop a profound connection with my patients which was uncommon amongst my peers, and which seemed to facilitate more well-rounded levels of healing of the body, mind, and spirit, coupled with high patient satisfaction rates. It wasn't until relatively recently that I uncovered the process that was likely occurring: I was naturally tapping into life force energy in order to assist my patients.  Notwithstanding the influence of my specialized contemporary medical training, my own personal spiritual transformation, which has been evolving over 25+ years of personal meditation and mindfulness practice, has rendered me especially sensitive to energetic healing modalities. With enthusiasm I began to delve deeper into the wisdom of ancient wellness practices,  using the information I learned through my travels and studies of various cultural practices around the world to purposefully nurture and develop this ability. Now, it has become my passion to share the transformative power of the healing arts with as much of the world as possible. As a certified Usui Ryoho Reiki Master/Teacher and Karuna ® Reiki Master/Teacher, I enjoy being able to empower people to take charge of their health and well-being, while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal.
